Automotive News, Media & Press - What ever happen to the Roller Valve idea?

I remember a company was talking about producing roller valve heads for the mustangs. Does anyone remember this? I wonder if Chevy could use that idea for 2.2 ecotec

There was a guy who designed a piston valved engine. It was like a 2 stroke on top of a 4 stroke. That was pretty cool since the valvetrain actually added HP instead of using it. I think the main drawback was flow.
