Last month I posted GM sales were off 12.9% from last February sales. But just like drag racing. I doin't care what your all time best ever et is. When we come to the line and stage, we're even. That's why I also posted GM sold more cars in the US than anyone else. Toe Otta aka Toyota isn't #1 yet, we're still out here fighting for every car deal.
During the month I came back here and made the comment it didn't look like sales were going well for March. I said we had lost a couple of days due to weather. I also mentioned other signals that sales were off.
Well, March figures are in. Looks like year to year sales fell 19%. Toe Otta was even off 10%. Malibu sales were up 17%.
So, if GM or other manufacturers keep bring improved products to the table looks like they will sell. Truck sales are off. I wonder why? The auto industry hasn't been the same since 9-11-01. I'll stick around until Chevrolets 100th. birthday. After that you're on your own. The dogs and I will reture to Tennessee. The government will pay me for doing nothing. There are three or 4 close 1/8 mile track.
