Anybody else see the F1-spec tyres it was running? I think it's really cool that Nissan will be offering them in right-side-drive and with full-blood non DOT-compliant tires from the showroom floor...

Maybe they'll even come with a posse of Nissan fanboys to overestimate lap times around whatever track I happen to be on at any given moment? That's a $4000 extra option that only comes with the WE DON'T GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT THE GTR package. Oh yeah it only comes in "pretty in pink" paint.:wrist:

Yeah i seriously doubt the ZR1 is only doing low 7:40s, i have a feeling that they are just playing games with people. Your worse than this other guy saying the dyno numbers were legit since the cars were left hand drive.

well according to Kay23 its an inflatable decoy so that we think they aren't trying to produce the best lap times and within the inflatable decoy is a 20lb nitrous bottle. So realistically the ZR1 probably runs 7:50's without the n20

No just any Carrera GT at that...those times were set by Walter Rhorl, quite possibly Porsches' best driver on the planet, a man who has been around the ring a couple tens of thousands of times....

Speaking of Porsches, hows about that new GT2? It's going to shred the GTR alive once Rhorl get it dialed-in and goes for a hot lap...I'd expect numbers around the Carrera GT's for THAT car, but not many others out there, certainly not an upstart Nissan whos fans think its better than it really is...

Oh, he WILL argue when the facts support his claims easily, but this question doesn't suit his hyper-biased agenda toward the GTR... So he will provide no other explanation, and "leave it on us" to prove why the GTR is faster than the Carrera GT when he knows it shouldn't be.

I dont see why anyone is getting all upset over kay23. Everyone responds to him like they think he knows what he is talking about. Running good times, and the gtr running on the same day as the zr1 doesnt mean that the gtr ran those times the same day as the zr1. Not to mention I hear nothing else spewing out of his mouth other than the track times(which is obvious the zr1 isnt performing at its best yet). We should just wait until the official #'s come out for the zr1 and the us version on the gtr, in all aspects of performance, not just a track.

The GTR is a nice car, I don't see the big deal in this and why people take it so personally when someone post good track time's from the GTR. If you don't like it just don't click it, abviously if you keep going back to the thread you really like it and are hungry for it. Kay23/25psi/chrissy etc, is just having himself a fanboi wet dream over the GaySpec. Further proved by the knowledge of him solely boasting of the car when it's resoundly acknowledged that any human completely devoid of driving skill can effectively have the GTR autopilot to great times.

seems to me that nissan or their jobless fan club are not to smart, considering that they let motor trend and K&N dyno the damn think and it put down at the very least 507 awhp. so i don't doubt these guys are uping the boost to get good track time, no to mention the pcm. 480 hp my ass. explain that one.
