Stereo & Electronics - Radio turns on and off?

I have an aftermarket radio in my camaro and it randomly turns on and off when i am driving...ive changed the Radio accy, pwr accy, and radio fuses. I have also changed the whole head unit and it still turns on and off :bang:...any suggestions?

Why are you jumping to conclusions?

Faulty BCM power or ground is a common problem that would cause this...

LS1_FREAK: Do your power windows work when your radio shuts off as well? Why did you replace the fuses?? -were they blown?

No the windows wont work but the power locks do. No the fuses weren't blown lol just prayin that somehow the fuses were faulty

hmm maybe your alternator is going. thats the same thing that just happened to my friend. test it.

If the radio and power windows don't work, sounds like a BCM issue (either the BCM itself, or the wiring for it)
