In case you didn't notice, the reporter is in UK ........ when he says "30 grand" he is referring to 30,000 UK pounds.

Stock for stock, I say the VXR500 is a better car. Don't know what the price is of the euro GT500 is and dont care. The VXR 500 has better suspension, brakes than the standard VXR and close to 500hp/500 tq and a little lighter than the GT500.

What annoys me is that it has six air bags (front, head, side), yet the American GTO was discontinued because it didn't meet specs for all those air bags.
