I'm trying like hell to get everythin in line to attend the event, but have a problem: I am starting a new job tomorrow, and won't eb able to get there until saturday morning. Is there anything that I must be present for on friday if I want to run the AA 9.5 index class?

Also, I understand all of the index classes do not allow a transbrake at all? If that's the case, then what do I have to do as far as unhooking it for the competition, is just unplugging it enough?

Make sure you get to the track early enough to get the car through tech.

You tell me what time the gates open and I'll be there. It's a 4 hour ride, I don't care if I have to leave at 2 am it's not a problem. I see the first round onsaturday is at 9:15, gates supposedly open at 9, as long as I can get thru tech right away I should have no problems, I'll heat up a bottle on the way down :)

Saturday the gates open at 9am. The 9:00 session is a time trial the 4;00 one is qualifing so you should have plenty of time. Make sure when you get to the track you go to the registration trailer and get your tech card side decals and windshield banner before you go to tech. Also you will get another time trial at noon so you will be able to make a pass before qualifing.

Thanks Jeff. I'll be honest, I get the car back together and get my nhra lic taken care of, I'll probably only need one run to get a feel for the track, and know what the car's doing. Every time I go to the track, whatever the car does off the trailer, is what it pretty much runs all day, so that being said, as long as it's not running 9.7, or 9.3 I think I'll be fine.
