Automotive News, Media & Press - Trans Am Chased In Cops Episode!

ok so i dont know if any of you guys have seen but when i was watching cops the other night i saw an epidsode where a 02 ws6 was being chased by police it was actually pretty funny haha i was just wondering if anyone else has seen it and if they knew the episode number?

I crack up every time I see that "Scariest chases" clip with the guys in a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe getting pursued by a DPS Fox Coupe....hilarious.

Wasnt it a silver WS6?.....if so I saw it awhile back

Did he get away? What cop car is going to keep up with a good driver?

It was Pewter, and no he got caught. He lost it on a turn and went up on a curb. They even busted out the windows and yanked him out. It needed a !driver mod BAD!!

yea it was a pewter ws6 and he was drinkng or something and hit a curb but it was pretty damn funny wish i could see it again :(

wow, that is really really old, i remember seeing it many years ago. i thought the window breaking was a little over the top.

I saw that a loooong time ago. They PIT the driver into a curb and blocked him FAST! Of course, if you were a cop trying to stop a WS6, wouldn't you push the lines of 'necessary' force too?

You can't blame the police for breaking the windows of a performance car of this caliber to pull out the driver. I think the driver was only caught because he didn't have traction at low speeds.

Theres one Ive seen a couple times, the cop pulls up behind a ls1 Camaro and a fox body at a light, they both actually take off, its pretty funny. The cop actually gets both of them to pull over.

The 5.0 got smoked too.

the two fbody incidents are good but the most exciting chase was that lt1 cop car chasing that 15 YO in an m3. that kid drove his ass off.

Was most of thru a residential area, and it missed the turn and then drove over the curb and almost down into a large drainage ditch? A female cop pulled him out thru the window? If so, I was almost involved in a wreck during that chase. If its the one I'm thinking I was driving home for lunch and almost pulled out in front of the TA, It blew by where I was stopped at 100+ thru a residential area, made it to the end of the street and turned, before the cops ever made the bend. That dude was haulin ass.
