Sirius or xm radio? who offers better programming and the best nationwide coverage?

At one point they were about to merge but don't know now. I have XM. For music they are about the same. Are you a Stern fan? If so that is Sirius. If you like O and A then XM is you. Sirius also has the NFL which I wouldn't mind having. Both are very similar just have to look at the programming.

I love rock.. I had sirius in the T/A. now after listening to XM at work and home all the time.. I want XM in the t/a... Plus it goes great with the navigation in my deck, And the SQUIZZ Owns

Sirus has nascar also.
It boils down to music selection. I think that eitherway you go is ok. I honestly think I like sirus best.

I have had both and prefer Sirius so much that if XM were the only satellite radio service, I would go back to regular radio.
The easiest way to describe the difference in programming is to think of Sirius as FM without commercials whereas XM digs deeper and plays tracks you don't often hear on regular radio.
You can get free three-day online trials of both services through their websites. You should try them out and choose the one you like best.
