Stereo & Electronics - front speakers

My front drivers side speaker is blown. i have some brand new pioneer 6 1/2 speakers. will they plug right in and work or do you h ave to do something special to make them work properly?

Whole lot of Pioneer 6.5's out there. What do you have and what does the FAQ say your 00 has for door speakers?

the pioneer model number is ts-164p

They will work but don't know for how long. You will probably need to solder the factory connections to them but should go right in.

yea yea i know i went all out. nah i had em laying around the house i got them for free and that factory one is blown so i thought it would still sound better than that crackling noise. lol
