Stereo & Electronics - Should I Poly fill my SubThump box with the SE-10" in it?

Going to assemble it Wed and was wondering if I should fill it with Poly before buttoning it up?

i didnt. I dont see why you should. the box is small. but i am still learning.

Gives it the reaction of a larger box. It is probably enough air-space but may have a little more low extension with fill.

I did mine and noticed a big difference. To me the sound was "fuller" and not "hollow" sounding. Try it for a while each way and see what you like.

I just put in a thunderform box with a beefy 10" Sounds BETTER than the 12 I used to have, plus I have my so called "trunk" back.

I just used some fiberglass insulation. The install instructions for the thunderform box called for it, and I'm glad I did. I filled about 50% of the volume of the box.
