Within the next few days i will hopefully be installing a dual a pillar gauge pod, with an electrical autometer digital fuel pressure gauge and an innovative LC1 wideband with the red DB gauge. I have never wired anything so i want to make sure i don't mess anything. I have searched and searched these forums, and have gotten more questions than answers.

When i look at the diagram for the autometer gauge, it says to connect the white wire to "+12V DASH", connect red to "+12V Connection" (and to use an inline fuse), and the black to a ground (thats the easy part). From what i have taken from all the time i have been searching, i found some people saying to wire the red using a butt connector and an in line fuse to the pink wire that goes to the steering column. I have no idea what else to do and i know i don't want to mess up any of my electrical, so help would be great.

I have yet to recieve the wideband gauge, but atleast if i know how to wire in the digi. fuel pressure gauge i can easily do the wideband. I have a few different sizes of butt conectors, and not sure if i need any other connectors. Right now im pretty stumped

Well i just recieved the Innovative gauge Friday, and it looks cool i can't wait to hook them both up. I was going over the instructions and the wiring i assume seems pretty simple. Looks like i might just use some inline fuses and some wire taps to get everything sorted out. Have a few questions though:
1. I have seen some writeups on people wiring their gauges to a 12 volt fuse in the fuse block in the interior, how do you do that and can you do it with 2 gauges?
2. I need to wire both gauges to a switched 12 volt source, i have seen write ups suggest the pink wire going into the steering column. Could i just wire both guages together run them through an inline 5amp fuse then use a wire tap to use that pink wire as my switched power source?
3. And the Innovative gauges comes with a small LED, and momentary switch. Is that for logging information if you have everything connected to a computer? Would i need to run them even if i just wanted to use my gauge to display my AFR readings?
Thanks
