I was just wanting to get opinions of power this thing might have being converted from TPI. It is a 87 GTA motor, it now has my RPM air gap, 750 holley carb(vac), hooker super comps, custom Y pipe, straight pipe. I did it just so i can drive it but i assume i exchanged some TQ for HP, i think it was 230 HP stock maybe? 325 TQ? I am not sure, but i assume i swapped 20 ftlbs for 20 HP maybe. Runs great and doesnt smoke a lick. Not bad for 160K mile used motor. Took it to 5500 once andit felt it had more left, unlike TPI where it would have flopped dead.

yeah your probaly right on the power, maybe a little more. ditching the tpi was probaly the best thing that could be done. The air- gap is a great dual plane intake. very hard to beat.

I have had the air gap on 3 motors now, i cannot complain about it. A real good street intake. I forgot to mention, i also have a 1 inch open spacer on it too. Not that it matters really.

i've seen spacers make power on the dyno. on your setup it's probaly a good idea, it won't be any thing your probaly gonna feel, but a slight increase is there.

Yea, i know it helps on a motor that makes real power like the one i removed, but this thing, probably a couple.

I did when i initially installed the engine. Ran it up to 4th, at 4k rpm it started to sun out of steem:) I have a 2.73 gear so i cannot say i was sitting still.
