I was just wondering if anyone had any info about tuning a Holley 600cfm carb. I just got my engine in and running but I'm not sure how to tune it properly. The car runs but I'm sure that its not tuned right and Im afraid that its robbing me horsepower. Any info/links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Also, we took the car (87 bird) for a test drive and the gas pedal only moves about an inch and a half before it stops. It doesnt hit the floor it just stops. Does anyone know why that would be happening?

If you have the throttle hooked up closer to the throttle shaft it will go WOT faster than if it was in its proper location.

there are a lot of little things you can to do to a holley. Is it a vacuum secondary or a double pumper? It sounds like you linkage is not adjusted right. If you want to give me a call at the office i can give you some help.
