Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - New Owner

I just picked up my car this weekend. Pacific Slate Metallic, GT, Premium, Sport, with sun roof.

The sun was overhead, almost noon. I also had the camera setting wrong. Pics do no justice to the car. The car was detailed before delivery and was like a mirror as well.

Beautiful car, that is an awesome color

You know what would make that car stand out from the rest ? These
CAI, instant 15-20 H.P. on stock motor

Well, I was so excited to get some pics I didn't check the camera settings.

I hope to get the GTO and G8 cleaned up to take some decent pics soon.

Keep the spoiler. Its one of the nicer ones out there & it enhances the looks . :angel:

Nice color. If that had been offered in 08 it would have been a tough choice between it and the Ignition Orange Metallic. That new deep red color is nice too.

Other than Black, the Ignition Orange was the only other 08 color I originally considered. I've since seen most G8 colors in person and I was surprised how good each color looked.

+1 on the Sport Red. It was on the short list when it was time to buy.

Since you still own both, I've got to ask some questions since I've been checking out GTOs, and G8s. Which car feels faster, handles better, etc.? Basically, is the 6.0 L33 faster than the LS1 in real life?

The GTO still "feels" faster and handles better IMO.

Either way, BOTH are wonderful cars.
