Guess the day is coming when piloting an A4 will really seem like it was driving... :eek2:
iill park my own car, thanks. that would suck if one of the proximity sensors went bad and the car crashed itself :eek2:

I saw this on the news last night. The innovations in this car are quite good, actually. My wife and I test drove this hybrid last year (not with self-park).
If you're into ultra-economy, this is a great car. Unfortunately, there are areas of this car that are very skimpy. Cornering isn't that great, and neither is the suspension. But, after all, this is an economy car.
Every time you come to a stop, the gas engine shuts off. Then, when you come off the line, the electric motor pulls you forward, and the gas engine starts back up. That equates to lots of wear on the engine, I thought.
We ended up buying the Volvo.

Are we sooo dumb we can't park a friggin' car? If you can't park a car, you probably shouldn't be driving at 65 on the highway. :eek2:
