My freind has 17x11 ZR1 rims on his ss. He can get a good deal on some Viper tires with 2k miles on them. THey are 335's though. WOuld that fit?

I've got 315's on 11" ZR1 (GS offset) wheels. IMO 335's would be a really tight squeeze, require a good bit of fender beating and not worth the trouble.
I'm sure it's been done though.
Another thought. It also will depend on the manufacturer of the tires. My old 315 Dunlops were narrower than my new 315 Yokohamas.

here is what i figure
a 17x9 rim:
275mm/9 = 30.55
30.55 x 11" = 336.05
So in theory they should fit on the rim. Right now the car doenst have a probelem with fittment. These tires he can get are real cheap that is why i am asking.

Hmmm, LG's Camaro package comes with 325s. GM's ZL1 "concept" camaro had 335s. Neither have tubs or anything. I think the tire will fit, but I wonder if the offset will be right.
