OK, so im just trying to think this all out in my head, i don't have both amps yet but i do have one (Alpine MRP F250), i want to run everything needed to use both. I have Alpine CDA 9857 - its has its own dedicated remote wire that has a female plug connector, can i use this one wire to turn on both amps? or would i need to run two seperate wires?

Also, i have one 4awg +12v running to the back passenger side for power, can i tap into this and run both amps off of it or does it also need another power cable? how should i go about this setup?

And lastly, i have a sirius reciever and am not sure where to mount it since its about the size of my hand

one remote is good for 2 amps u can split it whereever

what amps u running, the 4ga may be big enough, you can get a distro block for it

Running two amps off a single remote wire is fine. Anymore than three amps and I'd wire in a relay.

Provided the 4g wire is thick enough for the amperage draw of both amps, you would use a distribution block to split the wire between the two.

ya i figured this out, my main +12 wire is 4ga, then the distribution block gives me 2 8ga outputs. Considering im only using a 4 channel amp (4 x 40rms) im not to worried about power. Im only going to run a 10in sub so it might see maybe 400-500watts- if i have to run a thicker gauge then i will
