Default Does anyone have a tuner on there LS4?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at tuners for my SS and wanted to know if they are worth it and which one is the best out there?

I have a 2007 Monte Carlo SS 5.3 liter DOD.
I have a Magnaflow exhaust on it and I will soon have a K&N CAI aswell.

If you have a tuner which one do you recommend for my car?

To do it yourself: HPtuners. To get a tune done for you, Trifecta or Vector Motorsports.

I have the Superchips Cortex programmer/data collector.

I went for a drive after installing the tune and my G meter recorded a .04 Accel improvement than the highest number I've ever seen on the car.

Only "downside" is the traction control kicks in alot more due to the extra power

Heslekrants, Thanks, so was it easy to program or does it come with a preformance tune that just needed to be uploaded?

I'm really new to tuneing a car.

Unfortunately, unless I'm way behind in the Diablo game, you cannot use the u7191 on anything but the 2006 Imp/Monte, and 2005 (?) and 2006 GXP.

The Superchips Cortex #2950 works on most 99 & newer GM products and it updateable via the internet thru a UBS port.

Simple install. I'm running the 91 performance Tune. They are working on a 93 Tune and the option to turn off DOD which should be out in a month or so.

If you still have a warranty to you'll want to be able to reload the stock tune if you need to take your car in.
