Hey everyone, I called doug thorley headers on Monday about LS4 headers, they are interested in making them, but they want atleast 30 people and a LS4 powered car.

Wow! 30 people?!? As much as I'd love to get headers, I don't see 30 people commiting. We've had a hard enough time getting just 10 people. Go ahead and count me in for shits and giggles.
I will put my car up for testing if they comp me the headers.

I live in Yorba Linda which is 20 minutes directly west of Doug Thorley Headers in Corona. While I would offer up my car for the full mock up work, my car is leased and I do not plan on keeping it (in fact, I can't wait to turn it back in next May!) so I would not be one of the 30. In looking at other Thorley headers for other more popular (and that is the key word here-- "popular") LSx applications, IMO I can't see a pair for our cars coming in for less than $800 because of the limited LS4 market.
In all honesty, I think the more appropriate question for the group might be, "At what price point are you not interested in headers?" How many of you that don't plan on installing a good cam or keeping the car for the long term would be willing to spend almost a grand on a 10-15 HP gain?
That said, if it would help, I would be willing to offer DTH my car so they can put it on a rack and get a better look at what they're up against, or perhaps take some measurements, photos or what have you. Let me know via PM and we can exchange phone numbers if need be.
