Default Anyone using the Jet Performance Module?

Since it don't seem like Diablo is go ever come out with the programmer for the 2007 LS4's I was wondering is anyone using the Jet Chip Module or would it a nice mod? Jetchip.com says it give up to 25 hp and autoanything.com says it'll give 13 to 16 hp!

When I first got into it with GenIII engines, I had the same reaction: wallet shock and the overwhelming feeling I got every time I opened the program.

But once you learn how to use it, its awesome to control all the parameters for the car in the tuning suite (ahem.....diablosport) and it becomes easier and easier. Either I or Area47 on here would be willing to help you out---shoot me a PM if you have some questions.

No, you do not need to dyno your car with HP. Just get the tuner, read up on their fourms and enjoy the power YOU can unlock with it. Its going to be the second best thing you could ever do.

The first thing would be to get a custom dyno tune from someone who knows the LS4 really really well.

Vector would be the only company that I would go to for a dyno tune. Other than that, HP tuners is king!

does anyone know about the DHP powrtuner? if they are going to support the LS4 engine soon. I have a 98 Regal GS and have the DHP and I am hoping that they support the new MCSS as this is probably going to be my next car after the Regal. Is the MCSS the lightest of the LS4 FWD cars?

No, DHP will not support the LS4 cars. Hell they have a hard time supporting the dealers that sell their product. You will have to look at HP Tuners.
As for Weight, I believe the Monte is, but its close between the Monte and Impala. When I drive my car up to the weight station, ill let you know what it comes in at.

well that sucks.

I hope its less than my GS. my GS weighed 3540 and it should be a mid- high 12 sec 1/4 mile. Need to be able to make the 06 Monte SS that for around $3,000

get rid of the tornado first off.

if you do not want to get a laptop, get the diablo. that is you're only real option for hand held tuning. or the tunetime-westers ecm tcm.

DO NOT GET DIABLO...!!! LOL, if you need a good tune and since you know what your doing with DHP, just get the HP tuner. Its kinda the same, but with more features and its more user friendly vs DHP. I had DHP for my 04 monte SS S/C and I found their support to be lacking vs HP.

HP FTFW...!!!
