The guys from Idaho and Iowa both say forget the A/C. I give 'em 30 minutes in the Gulf Coast summer heat at 100% humidity to change their tune! Dave, the car has proven itself and now it can be a 10 sec. capable cruiser! Crusin' the Coast will be here again before you know it! Now if I'd just get my crap built!

I am pretty sure the best he ever ran was a 10.56, Clydes car was fast and had ALOT more left in it, I think it did anyway. The car was never run in good air, always in summertime(if memory recalls) He would have run a 10.30 yesterday in that air at Hub city I feel pretty sure.

It needs more converter still, will only flash to 3800, 3000 on the footbrake.

I am just gonna enjoy it.

AC stuff will not slow you down that much. if it does, you can let it snort some juice. that usually wakes them up!

We may not have 100% humidity here but the past few years have been hotter the shit! Dry heat cracks your ass just ass much as that soggy, nasty shit from down south.

David, A/C or not, that car screams potential. Do you not have that NOS plate anymore?

On the floor of the shop in a box, gonna stay there. Sorry guys, the trans aint gonna like the spray, and it will require a rear gear change. It has done WAY more than I thought it would.

Believe it or not I feel kinda lost, been chasing a 10 sec slip for so long LMFAO. All this happened QUICK I went from 10.95 to 10.58 in like a month or so.

I got 3 options here:
1.Leave it alone, put the A/C back on and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

2.Put a turbo 400 with a brake, Big Stuff 3, 3.50 gear, gut the car, put the plate back on and go after the 8 second LT1 record. He He NOT I doubt I would ever make the 8's, low 9's maybe.

3. Sell it, build me a Protouring/roadrace car.
