Yeah, I was really surprised in how good they fit. I will have it redynoed (made 275 with just the catback), but want to get a tune for it first.

Just curious, but does anyone know if headers tend to make a car run richer or leaner? I would think it would change the a/f ratio since the O2s are moved further down.

Btw, 94Z28-MSTGKLR, sent you a PM.

I always wondered what a stock LT1 with longtubes and good catback would sound like. I like it, especially the sound in the 2nd video!

For anyone in question of the sound of these headers, I can say that in person, I don't think you could make a car sound better. It's absolutely awesome, and I'm now looking for headers for my LS1. They also look awesome, very nice installation Chris.

Installing the headers themselves was the easiest part of the job, it was removing the old stuff that took the most time. I had the car on jackstands in the pictures clicked up one or two notches to remove all of the old stuff. I did have to jack the car a little higher to remove the old y-pipe.

When we slid the headers in, the car was on two ramps under the front tires. The back was not jacked up at all. The ramps were approximately 10" high. We also had to put a piece of wood on top of each ramp which was another 2". So figure 12" of height with the front suspension loaded. For reference, the jack we used (Craftsman 3 ton), reached its max height and we had to put a piece of wood on top of the jack pad to get more height.

Its really not a hard job, just labor intensive. Hell, my first mod was a short shifter about a year ago. Since then, everything in my sig was installed by me with some help from my old man.

That auction is for the "race version" only, which does not include EGR provisions. The pictures do look like the ones that Spudnick has though.

I'm curious if this company is doing things similar to pacesetter. you can buy egr compliant LT's from them, and you can buy race versions.

if the only difference is the fact that they dont put the egr tubes in the headers (possibly the difference in price as well) then I'm gonna go ahead and guess that the race versions probably fit the same as well. if so, I'm sold on them, because there's already atleast 1 testimony of the fit and finish if these.

Those are the same that I bought. The ad that I purchased from showed emission equipped headers, but what i received were the race version. I decided to keep them anyways as I got them for $350 shipped LOL! The driver side install was cake, have yet to get to the passenger side. Thanks to the original poster, I decided on these after viewing this thread.

The seller should give you or this site a % of all these extra sales he's making. I would have never thought these headers to be any good. Very nice thread.
On behalf of Ebay headers, we thank you!!!
