Default finally my build thread!!

alright so ive waited till i was into my build before i started a thread. the car 95 camaro z28 6 speed. im building a 383 with AI 200cc heads and custom solid roller cam and spraying a 200 shot. our hp goals are 450-500rwhp NA and 650-700 rwhp on nitrous. what we've done so far is bought a shortblock that has a forged rotating assembly and bored .030 over. eagle crank eagle H beam rods and were going to use diamond pistons. im switching to coil packs instead of opti. suspension is spohn chassis mount torque arm, spohn rear drag bar, spohn adj panhard rod, lakewood lca's, umi 3pt frame connectors, pa racing chromoly kmember, spohn tubular lower a arms, strange single adj shocks. we hav a moser 9" with a locker and 3.70 gears. 10 pt cage will be goin in and weight will be coming out hopin for 3200-3400lbs. the t56 is staying in the car were goin to do a few little things to strengthen it gettin a mcleod twin disk strange 3" chromoly driveshaft is on the way. track goals for the car are 9.80s after i get used to the car.

we were at the machine shop today for a qoute on refreshening the block and for new studs in the axles.

if there's any questions i might have forgot some. here's a few pics of stuff i already have.

yea i just started talkin to the old man about it again he said we'll see i really want to go now lol. hey question for you guys. the rear i got came with 2 sets of gears. 4.30s and 3.70s recently ive noticed all the 6 speed guys run atleast 4.10s are the 3.70s not enough? i dont want to be bogging off the line. but i think the 4.30s will run out on the top end with the 27" hoosiers i hav

You will run out quick with 4.30's, I'm only going 10.90's and I'm out of gear with them..with 28" tall tires. Granted I'm an automatic but when my brother had a six speed in his with 28" tall tires, he was out of gear at 125mph. I would go 3.70's and save the hassle of swapping down the road.
