Sold my trans am today for 7 grand, sad seeing it go but after I get my license back and this new job I just got works out I think a 5th gen will be parked in the drive way...
The car was good to me but in all reality the only thing stoping me from selling it the whole time was the history with the car I had. It was my first car, went from a beat up 130k mile DD to a practicly brand new car, lots of work in it, but it was more hassle than it was worth sadly. The fact that I need money and cant drive anyways helped ease the process though lol
7000 grand Cool..
I'm still thinking of selling mine but its been with me for a while and lots of good times and I hate to see it go, but
were still saving for a house and I need the $$$
yea i agree sounds like u made out well. how many miles on it? hell if someone offered me 7G's i'd prolly sell mine lol

I've always found selling anything is a matter of time, timing, patience and motivation. If you are motivated and patient sooner or later you'll find a buyer who is looking for exactly what you are selling and will pay your price. The same goes if you were buying, if you find an item you want, you're going to be willing to pay the price to get it.

Understandable man, I've paid off my 97 LT1 with 104k on it and am going to wait until I'm done with college in 4 years.. maybe my next toy will be a nice 99-06 Vette or 98-02 low mileage WS6.
Best of luck on your future new purchase!

Sometimes that's how it goes.
What's the story behind the lost license if you don't mind me asking..?

X2..I'm not a big fan. There is a yellow(more like a flourescent yellow) one here driving around base, the looks of them don't really appeal to me, I wish they looked better.
136k miles on the body, 300 on the motor, tranny and rear, and about 1200 on the int, paint, and wheels.
As embarrasing as it is I got another dui didn't learn the first time around... drove home, got into my garage, and was walking into the house and the cop pulled up said I was swerving, gave me my tests and I failed. I've got a revoked license till 5-7-11... Luckly I've finally settled into a serious relationship with a good girl who doesn't like drinking too much and doesn't mind driving everywhere.
5th gens are slow. I beat an auto SS by a car with my lt1

I ended up blowing is why they got me, I had a lawyer. If I wouldn't have blown and I didn't win in court, I would have lost my license for 5 years, I wasnt gonna take the chance, I knew the laws... IL doesn't like it when you refuse your tests...

A local guy just set the bone stock record for one the other night, for an M6. 12.87@109. And that was in nearly 1000 DA. Once it gets down to 0, or even negatives, they're going to be running mid 12's. That's not slow at all.
