Default Anyone used the LS1 pcm from EFI Connection

Wanted to know if anyone has used the PCM conversion from EFI Connection. How did it work. Did you modify your own harness or have them make one.

Also has any tried running it with 20lbs of boost & at 7500 RPM.

Just wondering if this will work for my new setup or should I just buy a FAST XFI.

I am switching to a Vic Jr. Intake ported from Wilsons. 90mm TB with Elbow, TEA 235cc Trickflow heads. Billet Solid Roller. Vortech YSi with 50mm cog drive.

What happened to the other guy who was doing it?

The EFI connection one is kinda pricey.

Ive done it an am extremely happy with it. I also have a YSi cog drive, pushing 24# boost. I am running a HP Tuners 3 bar operating system. I also reved mine to 7800 rpm's. Ive got a shit ton of build pics I can post if needed.

What kind of HP or 1/4 mile time are you getting out of that set up. I am ordering my kit from EFI today if I have time.

Also did you flip the wiring harness for the firing order or just change the firing order with the tune.

I dont see why it just cant be done with the tune

My driving sucks, and I am still tuning, but best is a 11.48@129. Not too sure on HP yet, but Im running 95#injectors, and they can see over 100%dc.

Mike at EFI connection actually built my harness, but I know he flipped the wiring harness. In HP Tuners, there is a firing order section. I had originally had mine set to 18436572, and the car wouldn't start. Then I changed it back to the LS1 firing order and it fired right up, though EFI connection had flipped the firing order.

Just a few pics

Very Nice setup. What did Mike charge to make your harness. He quoted me 800 bucks. I think I am going to just do the do it your self kit and save some dough.

Also besides turning off the vats did you have to play or change anything else to get it to run. Did you have to switch to LS knock sensors?

What size cam are you running to rev to 7900 RPM.

Chad at Golen has picked a billet solid roller from Ultra Dyne and I think the durations are like 275/285 @.050 and .650 on the lifts.

I want to make 1k rear wheel HP. But would be happy any where in the 900 range.
