Default LS1TECH you decide on my 1st catback

Its coming time to get a new catback my stock one has an exhaust leak so I'll have to change it darn . Well I've narrowed it down to two either the SLP loudmouth or this one on ebay called phab. I can't decide if I should risk it with the ebay one or just go tried and true. Here's a link so you can see LINK

Just want to see what you guys would suggest. Thanks guys I appreciate it.

George

If you like the old dump truck sound, the LM is for you. Don't know about the other one. Based on what I see, it would probably be similar. Obnoxious exhaust gets old really quick.

Any Loudmouth exhaust is pretty loud and annoying at cruising speeds. So unless you like listening to a loud rumble all the time I'd get something else. Its not bad in 6th gear but anything else is just attracting way too much attention!

I will always recommend Dynomax!

Ah well listen to a bunch of exhausts and decide what you like, perhaps people should post up vids of what they are recommending so you can get a idea.

If I were going to buy a cat back it would be a Borla 1000000000000%. Flows great sound/HP can be adjusted with a plate set up and it polished stainless with cool tips.
Only negitive is the price.

I had a Loudmouth1 on my car and I liked it alot sounds pretty mean. I didnt like the 2 65$ noise pollution tickets and constantly getting pulled over and warned for being to loud. All in all I think it's pretty good I did have the Magnaflow cat back also alot quiter but still a decent sounding exhaust.

I have the Magnaflow Catalytic Converter 45420, I purchased it direct here. Magnaflow Catalytic Converter 45420, I have no comlaints with this cat I passed emissions and got not engine code errors so Im happy. You would not believe what the dealer wanted to charge me for this thing. Definately buy online and put it on your self its way cheaper.

I have had allmost every catback on the market, except for hooker and flowsucker...I have run Lanes true duals, magnaflow, slp lm1, slp lm 2, slp 2 out the left, and am now currently running a Borla and LOVE it..I run the block off plate to keep it quite, it nicely disguises 650 rwhp. I can remove the plate or put a different one in to make it louder if i choose...

The best sounding out of all of them is BY FAR the Lanes True duals, which are 3 inch x-piped into morosso stingers and dumped before the axle...sounds like a race car..

Heres a couple vids with the true duals dumped..ALL VIDS ARE WITH PACESETTER LONG TUBES AND AN OFF ROAD Y PIPE

Here is a vid of my 1996 WS6, which has the red camaros engine and setup in it...SLP LOUD MOUTH II

^^ I do love the sound of my 3" TDs x-with bullets dumped, but its very very loud for a street car or DD IMO.

hitmanws6 you have a very nice red dump truck haha it sounds good is that 1 or 2?

Borla does sound pretty nice ive been thinking about it but that price tag is killer though if i can find a local used exhaust in good condition ill check it out.

BTC- I have been looking into GMMG but its really pricey like borla is it possible to find it anywhere cheaper? lol

So then you guys wouldn't recommend the PHAB exhaust then?
