This is a great deal for those serious about buying. It's free money toward going fast.

I ran the NA times in my signature with 190cc heads, a low 230 intake camshaft, th400 and a 9inch rear end.

If anyone is budget concious, the 190s are a GREAT cheaper alternative that can still turn great numbers.

Are those times on spray on NA? I hope NA because with my setup I want to run between 7.15 to 7.00. I have alittle bit bigger cam also so maybe that will help.

Those were NA times. I ran a bunch of mid 6's on a hundred shot but never had traction to step it up. Our tracks are terrible or high altitude and I never 60 footed faster than 1.59 but usually went 1.63-1.68.

My MPH averaged 95-98 depending on weather conditions. That is through a th400 with a 3500 nitrous stall (4200 on the bottle) and a 9 inch rear. The car weighed 3400ish.

Well my car weighs in at 2950lbs race prepped and I have a th350 with a 5000rpm stall trying to decide if I want to throw a transbrake on it. Anything faster than a 7 flat is just added bonus for me I guess. What size gears are you running?

x2, they def jumped the gun. Owell, they seem to think no one will be getting any tax money back... maybe LE will step up to the plate come tax season

I really think it would have ended up pretty much the same if they waited. They might have gotten 2 or 3 more but nothing significant. Idk about the other guys that took advantage of this, but I was getting H/C this fall anyways and wasn't going to wait til March if thats the way they went. I think the only thing that changed with it being now is who got the discount and who didn't.

I think it would be cool if LE did a GP too. I'm a fan of both but decided on AI for my setup. Either way we just need more fast LT1's out there. Just watched Passtime last night and they had two LT1 383s: one ran 16.xx, the other ran high 12's IIRC. No wonder everyone thinks these cars are slow.

I 100% agree with this, Except I choose LE. Both are great companies and will make your shit fly!!

I decided to wait also. Tax season would definately be better for me and a lot of others I'm sure. Bought a new house this year. I'm still undecided between LE2's, AFR 195's, and AI's 200cc heads. I can get a pretty good deal on the new AFR's right now and I wont need to buy cores. Anyway, one of these will be going on soon.

Gentlemen,

We don't read the boards very often, and the emails we were sent about it did not request any particular time frame IIRC. You cannot choose when opportunity presents itself in life, only whether or not to take it. No matter when a GP is held, there are people who will opine that we are a day early and they are a dollar short.

I appreciate very much the small handful of you who stepped up, followed instructions, and followed through. In the end, we are going to nearly double the actual # to 10% off so that the discount is more significant for you guys. About half of the heads are cut, and now we'll get to finish machinework and sending out final invoices. Thank you guys very much.
