I thought we'd start a thread to showcase the hard work our customers Pat (owner/builder) and Mike Harris (builder) have put into Pat's ImpalaSS. With the addition of our 200cc CNC'd LT1's and one of our smaller grinds he has dropped ~1sec off of his ET, obliterating the B-Body naturally aspirated stock short block record in the process. This was only his 2nd outing with the new top-end, so we are hopeful that he will be able to achieve lower 11's as he works with the setup.
Like Mike Harris' car, which also runs our 200cc CNC'd GM head and is the current fastest NA Impala SS, this car is 38XXlb race weight. The car has our "go to" GM LT stock short block top-end - 200cc CNC'd heads, a 22Xdeg HR, and a stock LT1 manifold. Naturally, this car has the typical bolt-on parts - 58mm TB, EWP, suspension, etc. The drive train consists of a 4l60E that Mike freshened, an ATI converter, and a short gear/tall tire that is approximately equivalent to 4.10 gearing for guys running a 26" tire. Beyond that, I am sure Pat wouldn't mind answering a question or two about the car if you guys have any.
Hope you guys enjoy, we'll try to keep everyone updated as things progress.

My 96 SS weighed 3800 without driver. My car had the stock bumper supports, stock crossmember, iron heads, and power driver's seat. That's an easy ~200 pounds. I'm betting his high dollar Holeshot wheels are lighter than my second hand Draglites. They at least look better!
The factory wheels are heavy. All the little things (headers, smog equipment, swaybars, etc) add up quick to take weight off.
A LOT of the b-body guys overstate the weights of their cars, Pat isn't.
He, Mike and Phil all do great work and pulled together for a great result.
What I have seen with my car supports what Pat's car weighs and what AdioSS is saying.

95 Roadmaster wagon gets handme downs from the Caprice 15.5 the one night I took it out with stock exhaust even at that point
Car looks and runs good! Still have a 10 bolt/spool in it? Obviously this car is set up right!

wow, pulling the wheels with "just" 425 hp. nice. that thing looks to be very well set-up. good job pat, mike, and a.i., and congrats!
Thanks,..........but those pics are with the stock engine (304 SAE rwhp) & Yank SS3600. It ran a best of 12.36 @ 107+ like that.
The heads/cam setup is only 2 weeks old and I don't have a launch picture of it yet. Pics from Saturday wouldn't have been impressive anyway - I spun every run.
Stall is supposed to be 4200, but data shows it flashing to 4600 on the launch. Weight with the iron heads was 3850 lb, so yes the weight is right..........but I'll work on getting it to 37XX
No nitrous on this motor. I had a 150 shot on the stocker which pushed it to 11.33@117 with a 1.45 60' - 4000 lb raceweight with full fuel and 35 lb bottle. So yes, the car was already dialed in.

If the car was wheels up on the stock motor, the new pics should be killer!
