Default head gasket and pushrod question

If I was to swap out head gaskets on a 97 trans am and put in impala head gaskets will I have to swap out pushrods to shorter ones? Right now it has a cam and 7.2" pushrods but IM wanting to bump compression since the heads are off? any help would be greatly appreciated, I want to order the correct pushrods and not have to run into swapping pushrods or ptvc!!!
thanks, Tom

You can reuse the stock pushrods. Ideally you'll need pushrods that are .02" shorter, but for your application .02" won't change all that much.

7.2" will suffice just fine.
