I'm never going to LSX. Something about being the underdog that makes it that much sweeter. I really don't have much bite right now, but once I graduate college and get the cash rollin in, she won't be stock for long. I'm at 113K miles and only had a couple of panels repainted (both due to women hitting me).

That is one of the nicest LT1's I've ever seen, looks great man!

Damn RedRyder518, that has to be one of the cleanest LT1's I've seen, that looks awesome.

I always seem disappointed when I go to the Gainsville Superchevy show, it just seems like the 4th gen showing is always weak.

FRC are the Z06 style Vettes before they had Z06s, fix roof coupes. My only problem with Vettes, they hold value to well, great for the seller not the buyer. I just have a hard time seeing myself spend $17-19K on an 7 or 8 year old car with no sort of warranty. By the time its paid for its over 10+ years old. Maybe this new Camaro will be cool.

Well the new Camaro will at least grow on me, not a "stop-me-in-my-tracks" look but it has potential. Unlike the GTO the new Camaro will at least have some symmetry and streamlining to it's design.

thanks man.... engine is getting paid for in about a month, with the leftover money i can pick up the small remaining things I need to square away. I hope to have it done for the spring when the racing season starts.... may would be awesome to have it making nitrous passes assuming I get about a month of seat time running just NA getting used to the car again. can't immediately start running balls out until i get used to driving her again. it'd be suicide

--------------------------------------
RedRyder518 - sweet looking car man! I'm looking to do the ZR1's sooner or later (probably later due to money).
---------------------------------------
Sidewayzz28 - Love those new vette rims.
--------------------------------------

It could be just about any decent car and its the same concept but, taking a 10-11 year old car and having it run and look as good if not better than it did from the factory is just awsome and extremely gratifying... especially when you come across anybody that understands and get compliments.

This thread kicks ass. It should be a sticky almost it seems...

LT1's are rare these days it seems around here in Iowa, no one has them. Its LS1 this and LS1 that. LS1 ones are amazing and are a better engine but what the hell, who cares. LT1's are just so cool and the style of the car that they are in are to die for.

94-96 LT1's = chubby

Thats just the way it is and always will be with me. Period.

By the way, RedRyder518, for months now your cars picture is what keeps me going in life to know that by the end of the summer i will be able to buy and make a car like your, but only in black. It is the quinticential LT1 in my mind and is... undescribable... Thankyou for bless all of us with your car for inspiration and to show others that LT1's are still bad ass.

Your car looks nice, I LOVE the center-mount exhaust! I have been thinking of getting that for my car except I wouldn't know where to start to look.

Well back on topic... My 94 needs a lot of work and I know it probably wont ever beat any modified LS1s for the time being, but I can drive my buddies (blueb4c) 2002 Z28 anytime. I do have plans for the car but its a ways out from being as nice as blueb4c 02.

It may have taken me to bore and stroke my LT1 to a 383, and then supercharging it, but I spank highly modded LS1, LS2, LS6 Vette's, GTO's ect. Ever since the day I put exhuast and reved it that first time I heard that deep grunt, I vowed never to sell it, and I never will! I will keep her in mint condition until the day I die!

Wow, thank you very much. I've never thought about being an inspiration and that means a lot to me. Long live the LT1!
