Pulled a Mach 1 hard from a dig. He launched right with me (he was on Nitto DR's) and I got him by a solid 4.5-5

He was minor bolt ons. Full exhaust, cold air or K&N in the shaker hood or whatever they do, had a tune, clutch, etc.

Thats with the mods in my sig, not spraying.

Stock GT's around here barely run high 15's @ mid/low 90's mph (remember the elevation) so they usually dont give too much of a fight.

I went 13.5/101 (2.04 60', 8.82/81 1/8th mile) in a buddy's bone stock '05 GT. The gearing helps it out in the first 330 feet, but after that it felt like it kinda fell off. I was impressed though, they're not turds by any means.

I love the BS in these threads. I just sold my LT1 car listed in my sig, but my wife still has her 06 mustang. Stock for stock a LT1 does not beat these cars unless you simply out drove someone. Even with stiff ass lowering springs bigger sway bars and 275/40/ZR18 tires this car is .3 and 6mph faster than my LT1 was when it was stock.

you had a 94 the obd1 lt1 cars were slower out the factory than the obd2 lt1 cars they had a few differences like cam style and the more advanced computers; yes i most likely could of out drove several of the mustangs iv raced but iv also driven several mustangs myself and have yet to be impressed,

I did lot's of research when I first bought my car. It happened to run about what I found to be average for a stock A-4 LT1.

Your car isn't stock is it? They haven't made a LT1 in what twelve years? Not many bone stock ones left running around. It is what it is! A stock LT1 won't beat a newer mustang unless there is a much better driver in the LT1 car. I'm done with this. Have fun I'm out .

I beat an 05 GT 5 speed stock for stock with my 93. Totally handed his ass to him. needless to say he was a little disappointed with his little mustang

Hate to tell you but you beat the driver, not the car..

Stock for stock it is a drivers race with the edge to the mustang.
