what are the facts give me the truth lt1 six speed that i bought with some work done to it. As far as i know tb bypass, fastchips, and 160degree thermostat, pluz a b&m short shift vs any stock mustang gt who wins

I would have to give ya the race. You'll have to hit the gears perfectly and run it right to the 5800ish mark. Mine is a built auto on about the same car as yours and I have taken a few 06's that were all stock by about 3-4 carlengths. They just don't pull past about 60-70 very well. Not trying to get mustang guys mad, but this is my experience.

Pretty good race, bone stock I ran a 13.91 while my buddy ran a 13.92 in an '05. Stock for stock they are dead even. Considering your car is essentially stock I dont see much power at all from your mods it should be a drivers race but I hope you win!

I had a new GT whoop my ass....find out afterwards (well during too) he wasn't stock by no means..
After about the 3-4th success over the GT's, I don't even bother anymore. I try my hardest to leave that business at the track. But we all give in every now and then!! I'm sure you'll do fine...

I have raced 3 newer GTs 1 auto and 2 5-speeds the auto was cake he wanted to race from a 20 roll for some reason other 2 were from a dig. auto was a joke he claims i only had 3 cars on him but it believe it was worse. first 5-speed was damn good race he got a car on me out of the hole (no excuses he just out drove me) i caught him by 70ish and pulled a car on him by 120 he was cool about it. the other 5-speed i raced was a punk he wouldn't shut up kept making excuses after i beat him twice by about 2 cars to 100 he sucked at driving compared to the other guy.
so long story short if you can drive i think you have a good chance against a 5-speed but if its an auto tell him to bring the K Y
BTW all those races were with a CAI only 97 M6 Z28.
I wouldn't either if i was them the only mustangs i have seen that run with LS1's are Mach 1's and 03-04 Cobras
mach 1s... same story....
dont run into many cobras.. only one that i have got to agree to race was a friend of a friend.. hes pullied exhaust intake.. and he ended up having to leave early..

OK, my 96 has a few, low cost mods, ported TB and MAF, CAI, LT4 Hot cam, PCM4Less Tune, 4:10's, etc... and I was dead even with this brand new Shelby - I let up when I saw the cops over the hill - he stayed into it, then almost locked 'em up!
