Default How Aggressive is your build

Just trying to get an idea of where everyones project would fall....please be honest with your self on this.

1) stock.....as in OEM, no mods
2) bolt-ons
3) cam only
4) heads cam....but otherwise as the General made it
5) mild rebuild...extreme budget 355 or 383...cast crank, hypereutectic pistons etc
6) aggressive street build....street car with its main purpose for the track.
7) street legal race car....tranny swaps, full race suspension, weight reduction.
8) Hardcore....the Big Dogs

#4 which it will more than likely stay at because Im very content with it right now. I would like to have another LT1 one day that would be in the #7-8 category but I would probaly have a KB Terminator or Blown C6 before I'd do that so I could comfortably drive it everyday and still run in the 10's.

So aggresive im buying another car as a substite. Sooner or later you realize that huge cubic inches, big hyd. rollers and all the other doodads arent what you want in a "legit" streetcar.

#6 for me. if i had to drive it every day i'd probably buy another car not because of poor street manners but because of it being a gass guzzler.

Pretty aggresive H/C combo with a fairly hot cam, while I build a forged bottom end. My suspension has a bunch done also.
I wanted to say #6 but I went with #4

My car is pretty stock. Stock trans with a stall, shifit kit, and cooler, your basic bolt ons, LPE heads and AI cam. I hope to go to Mooresville for the first time with this setup on Thursday.

I have my eyes set on a 383 for my LT1. Nothing too extreme tho. I'd be very happy with 450hp and 500+lbs of torque

What if instead of H/C/I..Ive got a shortblock with stock heads and intake..what would you call that (besides ignorant)

Aftermarket motor, trans swap, all rod end suspension, aftermarket rear...but its got AC. What about a Street Legal Street car...lol

I picked #3, I suppose the motor going in is just a hotcam deal. Then again someday the nitrous will get installed, and I am tripping over a roll bar at this point, and spohn'd out the rear suspension.......I may start be falling into #6.
