Disconnect the switch and connect the two wires. Done.

Bump on this. I am trying to find the same info on my 05 cts-v, i believe the clutch safety switch has gone bad. Car does the same thing disconnected or connected, will not crank when key is turned. Fuel pump is running and all other functions are normal. Car does have a 4 wire switch.

He was probably looking at the wrong switch. There are only 2 wires going to it, and the switch simply completes the circuit. So just short the 2 pins to bypass it.

EDIT: That's for an F-body, not sure about a CTS.
