Default Pick Me Out A Shift Knob...

Here's the deal; I love my stock Hurst shift knob but during hard driving/shifting I can feel that the threaded part that is inside the knob is coming loose which makes the shifts feel pretty mushy. I'm not looking at spend $65 on another one(unless someone has one for sale, PM me) I was about to get an MBA knob but then remembered my aluminum shift knob on my last car; it was nearly impossible to drive if you let it sit out in the sun for too long.

I'm looking for some suggestions at what I should get(No t-handles, I think they look stupid on our cars) Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

The white hurst cue ball. Its a classic, still looks badass in our cars, and works great for bangin' gears.

I kind of look at a pistol grip the same as a t-handle. I just can't get past the looks. I think I'm too used to seeing it in Mopar's.

I did a lot of research and ended up going with the classic hurst cue ball myself......you can get one for $30, give or take $5. I absolutely love it. I will never change mine.

I'm liking the looks as well. I'm looking at WS6 Store, any other sites I should look at?

Thanks for the pictures FF!

No problem. I got the ball from Texas Speed. I think it was right at $30 about a year ago...

i was running a hurst pistol grip for about 10 months. it takes a while to get used to; i didnt find it comfortable on a DD car. the thing is solid metal, so its cold as ice on winter mornings.

right now im running a c6 corvette knob modded to fit an fbody. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C6-Co...Q5fAccessories
comfortable feel, great for a DD car, i havent had a problem in almost a year. plus, it matches the interior and looks stock.
