Default monster pedal feel?

i just installed a lvl 4 monster in my car and the pedal is much softer than the previous center force that i had. i am wanting to know what the pedal is supposed to feel like with the lvl 4. i havent had a chance to drive the car because i am in the middle of 6.0L swap. i should have it done in the next couple of days and want to know if i might run into some issues with the softer pedal. thanks!!

not sure if you will run into issues, I have the stg 3 on the vette w/ tick adj master and it feels stiffer then the stock z06 clutch. maybe the center force was really really stiff?

I dunno if this helps at all, but... A buddy of mine has a center force clutch in his LT1 car and its like pushing on a brick wall compared to my MONSTER level 6.

Depending on the type of Centerforce you had you could have easily doubled the pedal effort vs a Monster Clutch. Our clutch should have a 8-10% increase in pedal effort vs the stock setup.

Give us a call if you have any more questions!

well, i started the car today!!! i didnt get to drive it, it still needs a tune. i did put it in gear to see if it would move on its own power and it did. its crazy that this clutch has a much softer pedal feel than the previous centerforce. thats so awesome! i should have the car finished and driving some time next week. cant wait!!!!!!

You'll be happy with the way that the Monster holds the power. Can't imagine how heavy your Centerforce must have been though.

I've got a centerforce dual friction with the tick master. It is very stiff in my opinion. With driving to the track making 6-7 passes and driving back, my leg is very tired. I've even redlighted because I couldn't hold the pedal in anymore. Id say it's the centerforce. Got my monster on order though and I'm glad to hear it'll be a lighter pedal.
