Default Have LS7 & Hayes 85-105 Which do I use?

I have a LS7 take off clutch from a crate motor & a new Hayes 85-105 & am not sure which clutch to use in which car. I have a stock 99 SS M6 car that needs trans repair & a 2000 Z28 that has a bad clutch & getting a moded motor. The Z has Hooker long tubes, K&N FIPK, & MagnaFlow cat back & am putting in a 02 LS1 with ported heads, cam & 80 MM tb & having the trans gone through with the usual upgrades.
I want to put the better clutch in the Z since it will have a bunch more power.
Which is better?
I bought the LS7 set up off here & it came in a LuK box & has Luk stamped on it.
How can I tell if it is a LS7 unit?

Thanks for any suggestions.
