Default are ls7 and ls2 slave the same throw out distance?

im swaping the clutch on my cts-v to a ls7 and dont want a spacer in there.. i want it to feel as stock as possible but hold the extra ponies...

i need to know if i can use a ls2 slave or if i just have to buy the ls7.. i got a deal on the ls2 and im able to get it today rather than order the 7..any help is appreciated

I can tell you that they will all measure out differently, and really what you need to do as well...measure to make sure. You should be ok, but while it is apart, i would measure (really no reason not to)

It will fit, except the hydraulic connect fitting is different on the GTO vs F-body. You can drive out the little retaining pin and install the F-body hydraulic connect fitting.

And as Gen414 told you, they will all measure out differently. Not all Master and Slave cylinders are created equal. Even from GTO to GTO or F-body to F-body or Vette to Vette can be off.

To be sure, lay it on a flat surface fully retracted and take a measurement.

If anyone knows this, it would be Gen414.
