So if it does get a small hole in the boot (which will be way longer than 30 min) you will never know and it wont matter just put the panel on and go for a drive.

Alright. Evidently that's just the way it fits. I'll deal with it. I'm still kind of surprised to be honest. But I also know I'm extremely obsessive compulsive. I'm sure the driving experience will be great.

BTW guys, thanks for posting the pics. That really helped clear up the fact it wasn't an anomaly.

Mike, if anything happens to it...leaking or whatever at any point we're replacing the cylinders. We've sold a ton and only had a handful come back with any issues. I was going to snap some pics of my car yesterday afternoon for you as well until I realized my gf had our camera. Anyway it fits the same as the others posted.

When we made the bracket we really spent a LOT of time trying to get all the angles right in order for the cylinder itself to have a straight shot with the pedal and also not hit the frame of the car in the engine bay. I can tell you that clearance is a matter of thousandths between the 90 degree hose end and frame, and the side of the cylinder itself toward the ds of the car. We done all the fitment testing on my own car pictured in the sig with no engine or brake booster installed. Just let me know if you have any other issues with it.

I can see both sides of this issue, I dont mind paying top dollar for some parts, I bought some headers from a sponsor on here and they were over $800.00 and they were designed by the sponsor and built by Hedman and they did not fit very well, so do I leave my car down for another 3-4 weeks as that is how long it took to get these headers shipped to me or do I get the hammer out and put a few tweaks in those nice brand new shiny ceramic coated tubes, well car was up and running that afternoon, so I can see the frustration on the OP's part, paying top dollar for a part and then having to make stuff work, about 75% of the items I have bought for my A-Body LS2-T56 swap that was a bolt in part was not, I have had to use the grinder, welder and big hammer to make alot of it fit. As I said I usually dont skimp on what I believe to be quality parts and service but I too get very pissed when I dont get what I thought I was paying for.
