Can he use a bell housing out of a 3rd gen v8 car to his existing 5 speed or can he use the whole 3rd gen ve trans? The 4th gen V6/T5 had a different case/ bell bolt pattern.I think the way to get this done is to get the V8 T5 you need. It will certainly last longer than the V6 model.
