Default 2nd instead of 4th?

First time at the strip today with my Trans Am and twice when pulling fron 3rd to 4th, got into 2nd! I thought springs inside the Pro 5.0 would hinder this misshift. This happen to anybody else? Any fix?Or just bad driving on my part.

I to have done this at the track and just normal everyday driving too. I have the Pro 5.0 as well, hmmm this is making me think its a shifter related problem now since we both have em. I thought i was just plain missing the gears.

and Yes.

When you shift from 3 to 4, position your hand palm out or you will subconsciously pull toward you.

You might want to check your pushrods since they are probably bent now.
