Default Clutch? Tranny? or a combo of both?

Hello everyone. I need some advice and opinions please.

Well here are the symptons: At stop lights you can sometimes hear grinding noises. It is very difficult to put into gear to get going again. You have to play with it a lot to get it into gear. Once on the freeway shifting is no problem. Downshifting is not a problem at all. It never jumps out of gear at WOT.

I hooked up my portable OBII scanner to see if the tranny was throwing any codes, nothing. I did change the hydraulic fluid today to see if that would help. No real change.

I am almost sure it ins my clutch because it is the original clutch on the car.
LS7 here I come!!! What do you guys think????
