| Tranny fluid I was under my car so I figured it would be a good time to check the trans fluid. I popped the fill cap off and reached in with my pinky, and could feel fluid, but it was just on the tranny case, not a actuall puddle in the bottom of the tranny... So I know I need fluid, whats the best to use? And could this be causing my third gear popping out every once and a while, or is the 100% sure still my syncro?

| ATF4 is what gm mechanics told me to run in my t56. They said its for an auto but will work with the t56 and helps out synchros some how. I didn't really listen to the advantages, if any, but my neighbors who are also mechanics said the same basic thing. |
