hey guys i have a 2002 ws6 with the spec stage 3+ with about 550rwhp. i had it at the track this weekend and it did not slip at all. I was running a 315 bfg t/a drag radials. launching the car at 4500 rpms pulling the wheels with a 1.55 60 ft. running a 10.92 @127. no slippage all day. i am happy with the clutch so far with no chatter either.

Thats great to hear, I plan on picking one up real soon for my 415 ci LS2. That is an awesome pick. That track must have been hooking real good to get those heavy a$$ front tires off the ground.
ls1amit, all the hydolics on my car are stock, the only mods i did to the tranny are the clutch and flywheel.

awsome pic man.... not to rain on anyones parade but i have a stage 3+ with about 10,000 miles on it. i had an sts turbo push 508rwhp. but i put the car back to stock about 3 months ago. now in the last week the clutch seems to be slipping and i dont have much off a pedal. i only have to move the pedal about an inch to shift. still fills firm. but just when i am cruising i give it a little gas and it feels like an automatic trans. any ideas. oh and its only got about 10 or so track passes.
I just got my Spec 3+, but I haven't put it in yet. My Spec 3 lasted about 10K miles but it seems to be slipping now. It does ok in 1st and 2nd gear, but if I'm cruising in 5th or 6th and I punch it, it just redlines and the car doesn't really pull. Sounds similar to what you're describing, Ruchillws6. Maybe I slipped it too much driving it everyday with my 3.73?
ScreaminRedZ- thats what is happening. when i first noticed it when i was in sixth gear on the highway and went to pass and it slipped... now its doing it all the time cant even break the tires loose now...its just gone downhill and fast. when i first put it in the car i replaced all the hydrolic, slave, master and throw out bearing, resurfaced stock flywheel.even took the master back out and did the drill mod after i found out the newer ones still have the restrictor. but man i am a little bummed out about this.well at least i am not the only one. now i have to figure out what to get now.
Ruchillws6, yeah, ours are definitely doing the same thing. When I put mine in I upgraded the master, did the drill mod, and resurfaced the stock flywheel. I bought a Spec 3+ this time even though the guy from Thunder Racing said he didn't think it would last any longer. He did say that the first one should have lasted longer than 10k though. He thought that maybe my 3.73's were the problem and maybe 4.10's would help it last longer (less slippage), but I don't want to spend any more $$ on my 10-bolt and I don't have the money for a 12-bolt. We'll see what happens with this one.
