Default im trying to identify this piece

on the T56, there is a gold piece with a hose attached to it going into the shaft that peice broke when i was removing the tranny, i was wondering if anyone can identify this piece so that i can buy it to put it back in the car

Sounds like a breather barb. The breather tube attaches to this part. If the trans is out of the car, you can remove that cover where the barb installs.Extract the broken end of the barb( its just swaged in place) . You vcan now tap the hole for a threaded tubing fitting. Attach the breather tube to this or replace the entire tube with rubber fuel line. Install the jiggle cap end on the rubber hose if thats the way you go.
I suggested the above change because just changing the barb is not done with good results as the hole will be too big to get a snug fit on a new barb unless you go with epoxy .
