sepno77 words of wisdom "Criticizing and trying to be so cool and make all these lame as jokes that really aren't funny at all just makes you look gay and dumb ass fuk."...( brought to you WORD FOR WORD by JOHNNY/SEPNO77 the exact quote..) wow brilliant johnny, brilliant!!
Sorry about taking so long with this Kenny; ran into some rendering issues on my computer. Anyways, heres some footage from bodigans. Couple burnouts in the vid including Kenny's C6. Sorry ahead of time for the shaky camera work.
We've got roughly around 8 -10 cars going to CC show over on FTWM.net Nobody is talking about the kendalltucky show.
I went to the Columbia City show last year with the wife in the Formula and the Z. We didn't win anything, but it was the best car show I have ever been in. Great music and food, and a perfect car atmosphere and display for a car show.
Wish I could go again this year.
Anyone considering going really should. It is great

Depends on your goals. The Z has better heads and cam (and is lighter from several things). If your aiming for 450 N/A RWHP or less, than the Z is cheaper, as you can (probably) use the stock heads, if you want 500+ RWHP, you'll need new heads and everything else anyway, so you might as well start with the base LS1. You could also always spray the Z and get >500 RWHP, but I'm not a big nitrous fan these days.
The other advantage is weight due to the exhaust (titanium) some body panels and the fixed roof (though you can get a fixed roof non-Z (FRC) but they cost about the same as the Z anyway...).
Personally, I'd buy a base C5 Targa as sub 500 RWHP just doesn't get it done now days...
edit: This assumes the two are within ~2000 dollars in price. If the Z is >2000 dollars more, the base is going to be cheaper to make fast(er) regardless.
