The 5.3 is a shortblock minus the front and top covers (does have the rear cover), and includes lifters, lifter trays, oil pump, and oil pan. I may have a pickup and windage tray for it also. No intake.

FWIW, Drew has the rest of a longblock for sale (I used the shortblock only) with '98 LS1 heads, rockers, valves/springs, covers, etc. Not sure how much he wants for it, but I'm sure he'd make you a good deal.

Best of all, all this crap is at my house, so come get it all and I can stop tripping over it.

I'm very tempted Blake. I might just buy it now and throw it in the garage for when my stock one pops

It's like Saab Guy, just say strippers three times and Scott pops up!

And Jerry, +5 EXP for creativity.

It's official... I won't be able to come home...

There will be another opportunity later when I am flying the T-1, and if nothing else, I might be able to stop up during Christmas.

Wow that sucks for me. I was hoping to pick it up today or tomorrow. O well I'm sure another one will come along but probably not for that price

Sorry to hear Ben. It would have been nice to have another one of the fast cars out like last year. This year's scene is way different than last year.

There seems to be a hell of a lot more racing this year than the last few, although that might just be because I ride along now, since I blew my shit up in June.

would be a nice motor to have for the future, but you can get a stroked/forged 418 LS3 shortblock for 4500...would he take $4000 for it ?

Maybe next time...

Hearing good times on the street back home for me is like knowing there is a major conflict/war going in the world, and not getting to be there

There will be a time and a place for me to be in a position to do both, it just sucks not being there now
