Hmm, my tranny decided to be a dick today. I now only have 2nd, 4th and 6th. No 1st, 3rd, 5th or reverse. I'm not sure exactly what's going on but from what I can tell a roll pin or snap ring probably dislodged from the shift forks or something. Not a huge deal but annoying. Grr.
I'll pull it one night this week and see what's going on. I've had some weird behaviors with reverse occasionally for a while, where it would feel like it went in but wouldn't engage. Apparently whatever that was finally let go.
I don't think it's anything major, but I could do without yanking the transmission again.

Here I thought it was for entertainment and documentation purposes. You need to let the NHRA, NASCAR, IRL, Moto GP etc know that they should stop broadcasting their races.
