462 for life! Yeah, yeah I know I'm old school.

Loaded on the F-111F, F-16, A-10A. Worked backshop on F-16 and now B-1B.

Leave it to a Load Toad to post something completely irrelevant in a Military Discount thread.

But I can't resist...

Yeah, tell that to the poor suckers that are stuck on our flightline working 12hr shifts, moving missiles around by hand because one of their jets "broke"... while I sit in my warm 3-pack with my laptop, do my required work, then sit in said warm 3-pack and surf LS1tech while watching the loaders hand-hump missiles in the freezing weather @ 0300.

Yeah... 2W1 for life. Sounds like a sentencing to me.

Just thought that yall should know... I sent this to Byunspeed:

I was just looking around LS1Tech in the military forum and noticed that you
were listed as one of the sponsers that gives a military discount. Is this
correct or a mistake? If it's true how do I go about getting it? I still
need some things before I take R&R leave from Iraq in two weeks so I thought
I would ask.

And this was the response:

It has gotten to the point where everyone is now in the military LOL so
really if you price match against other vendors against my prices, you'll
see even with their "military" discount it is nothing. It is just a sales
ploy to get the military folks to think they are getting a deal.

Just price anything from another vendor and look at our regular prices that
are shipped free, they still can't beat the price. But if you do find
something better priced, let me know, it is easy to fix it and adjust.

Now I have to say that ByunSpeed is the best company that I have ever done buisness with and will continue to spend my money there. Rember that he will always give you the best price and never charges shipping.

So there is no easy discount. Oh Well. I wouuld spend a little more to do buisness with him if I had to over someone cheaper with lower customer service.

But thats just me

Thats BS... seems like as long as u give them your military e mail address or maybe even some other form of info they don't have to worry about that. What sucks more is when people say they are military and they are not.

Look discount or not I make sure that whoever I spend my money with is doing the right thing. As far as I care Byun is the company for me. So they dont offer a mil discount.

1. He always gets my parts to me fast.
2. Never charges shipping.
3. Takes orders at all times of the day or night which is good for me due to the fact that I'm in iraq.
4. Price matches on anything without any questions not that he has ever had to because of his existing prices.
5. Gets back to my e-mails the same day.
6. Dosent care about the delay in the phone.
7. I have never gotten the wrong part.
8. Keeps me updated on my order by e-mail
9. Sends me the tracking # as soon as the order goes out.
10. I could keep going but I hate to type.

As far as I concerned whoever you spend your money with should be someone that you think will do right by you. ByunSpeed is that company for me. Just because I'm in the Army dosent mean that I should get better treatment than a worthless lazy civ.

Oh yeah if I did find someone that gave me a discount and they were cheaper I would just call Byun and ... See #4

Ed hooked me up with one of these Magnuson kits, I'm wiating for the last box of install hardware and then its time to get it installed. He's been very thorough in helping me select the right parts and has spent lots of time on the phone or email answering ??'s He gets back to me asap, very busy man with lots of things to get done. He will walk you through the setup and make sure that you get your ride up and running to it's full potential with the Magnuson kit.

I have Orielly's (spelling?), auto zone and advance within a tenth of a mile apart and orielly's is the only place that offers a discount. they often aren't the cheapest or have the biggest inventory but i give them all of my business when possible. I usually don't ask for the discount unless it's a pricey part.

The way i see it, if they're nice enough to give me a discount, i'm nice enough to give them my business, cheapest or not.

Gotta agree with you on this one. Currently I am at home station and have ordered a lot of parts from Byun. He has always beat any price that I had found anywhere and his shipping rocks fast and free
