Default I will never complain again

If you ever have the opportunity to go to a POW/MIA luncheon, do it. I was an escort for a man today who was captured in the battle of the bulge after running 3 different machine guns winchester trying to keep the Germans at bay.

He was then held for 5 months when the Russians liberated him and handed him a rifle and told him to fight his way out with them to the Americans.

And I thought Hell Week was hard...

I've had a chance to talk to some of my family members that are vets of WWII and Vietnam a few times. It always amazes me some of the stories they have. I definetly have alot of respect for any vet.

Dont forget today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. In honor of the sacrifices and service of those who have been Prisoners of War and who are Missing in Action, all military installations will fly the National League of Families' POW/MIA flag.

Sparky...not bad. I miss doing that shit, I was a flt sgt for the Dyess HG. I did a tad over two years of HG and had a good time doing it. Once I had my own flt it was really fun, we were the shit...not bragging, we just were always busy and practiced a lot!! I loved calling commands!

Much respect that have served before me and paved the way for what this country is today.

Seems like blues are more appropriate for this.

Yes it is very appropriate, we were talking about "on a side note" that the noners have to wear blues on mondays. Not about people wearing blues to this POW thing.
